Arches (part 2)

We visited Asheville a few weeks ago, and while driving, I saw a lovely set of arches. I snapped it through the window with my phone, and forgot about it. In the past few days, I’ve been backing up my photos to Google Photos, and finding out that the “assistant” makes creations such as collages, movies, animations and stylized photos. And I LOVED this stylized version of my newest arches! (The first “arches” post is here.)

Smile

noun
noun: arch; plural noun: arches
  1. 1.
a curved symmetrical structure spanning an opening and typically supporting the weight of a bridge, roof, or wall above it.

The Photo 52 assignment “Arches” made me miss living in Minnesota! The Stone Arch bridge would have been so much fun to photograph. I really couldn’t remember any arches in Charlotte, so googled it… and didn’t come up with much.  SO, with the help of my husband and a decision to celebrate our anniversary with a little day-trip… we headed to Asheville. In search of arches.
